Leviticus 19:6-8
"And if anything remains until the third day it shall be
burnt in fire. And if it be eaten at all on the third day...that soul shall be
cut off from among his people"
Exodus 29:33 "But a stranger shall not
eat of them, because they are holy"
All sacrifices have a time limit in regard to the amount of day or days that
we are allowed to eat the meat of the sacrifice.
Any meat not eaten by this time is considered "Notar" which means,
"leftovers." We are forbidden to eat this leftover meat (see Positive
Mitzvah 91).
